Define Offer Details:
Select the condition of the offer: buys, redeems, has event, earns, spends, participates, favorites or scans.
Depending on what condition you choose, you may need to further specify criteria. View parameters.
BUYS - Specify the amount of how many products the consumer should buy to qualify for this offer. - Select if the amount is fixed (EXACTLY), a range (ADD RANGE) or is the button threshold (OR MORE). EXACTLY - will work when the consumer buys exactly X amount of products. OR MORE - will work when the consumer buys at least the amount you have entered of products. ADD RANGE - will work when the consumer buys the amount of products within the specified range. - Select if you wish to specify the product (SPECIFIC) or if the product can be any product from the products you will select below (ANY PRODUCT) SPECIFIC - the offer will work only if the consumer buys this specific product. It is a single product you specify. ANY PRODUCT - the offer will work if the consumer buys 1 of any of the products you specify below.
REDEEMS - Specify the type of redemption that will need to be triggered in this condition. CHIPS - use chips to enable events on chips redemption. When users redeem chips, they will get the reward. You will further need to specify the amount of chips to be redeemed, to get the reward. PRODUCT - use product to enable events on product redemption. When consumers redeems the product, they will get the reward. You will further need to specify which products redemption would qualify and the amount of those products. EXACTLY - will work when the consumer redeems exactly X amount of products. OR MORE - will work when the consumer redeems at least the amount you have entered of products. ADD RANGE - will work when the consumer redeems the amount of products withing the specified range. SPECIFIC - the offer will work only if the consumer redeems this specific product. It is a single product you specify. ANY PRODUCT - the offer will work if the consumer redeems 1 of any of the products you specify below. DISCOUNT - use coupon to enable events on coupon redemption. When consumers redeem a coupon, they will get the reward.
HAS EVENT - Specify the type of event that will trigger this reward. You can choose from: Birthday, Anniversary and SignUp BIRTHDAY - if enabled, the consumer will get the reward on their birthday (e.g. chips) ANNIVERSARY - if enabled, on the anniversary date of the consumer’s first interaction with the brand, the platform automatically triggers the reward. SIGNUP - if enabled, rewards consumers immediately upon signing up for the Brand on Chips platform/ creating an account on the platform.
EARNS - Specify the amount of chips the consumer would need to earn to get the reward. EXACTLY - will work when the consumer earns exactly X amount of chips. OR MORE - will work when the consumer earns at least the amount you have entered of chips. ADD RANGE - will work when the consumer earns the amount of chips within the specified range. Note: you cannot have 2 different offers where 1 has a RANGE of chips and another one has OR MORE condition. The Chips system will reward the users in both rewards offers according to the condition. The EARNS condition is popular for membership rewards, where by entering the ranges, consumers could reach the 3 tiers of memberships. However, if you use 2 different offers with a RANGE and with OR MORE with concurrent values, you will get an error. e.g. OK: 1-1000 chips → Silver membership 1001-2000 chips → Golden membership 2001-3000 chips → Platinum membership WRONG: 1-1000 chips → Silver membership 500 OR MORE → Golden membership 1200 OR more → Platinum membership
SPENDS - Specify the amount of $dollars the consumer has to spend to qualify for the reward. EXACTLY - will work when the consumer spends exactly X amount of chips. OR MORE - will work when the consumer spends at least the amount you have entered of chips. ADD RANGE - will work when the consumer spends the amount of chips within the specified range. - Specify how the $dollars are spend. Rewards can be triggered for overall spending as well as per unit(per dollar). OVERALL - if enabled, the offer will work based on the overall spending. It can be set for a single transaction as is, or for the overall amount of spending based on cumulative transactions within a period. PER DOLLAR - if enabled, the offer will work based on a single dollar spent. The value you have entered, will determine the amount of rewards calculated by multiplying the value you enter by the $dollars spent. e.g. for each dollar spent
PARTICIPATES
FAVORITES - Specify what the consumer would need to mark as favorite. There are 2 options: brand and rewards. BRAND - if selected, consumers can get rewards by marking your brand as favorite. Specify the Brand in the next field REWARDS - if selected, consumers can get rewards by marking your rewards as favorite. Specify the Reward in the next field.
SCANS - Specify the use case of the QR code that the consumers would need to scan to get the reward through this offer.
Select Brand
Select the Brand of the product you will specify.
Select Product
Choose the product that the consumer would buy. You may narrow your search by applying the Category filter. If you do not see the product you wish to use for the offer, click on the View All to expand the list.
If you selected ANY PRODUCT and only chose the Brand, the condition will work for any product from the selected Brand. If you selected the Brand and applied a filter to the Category, without selecting the products, the condition will work for any product from the selected Category.
When
Offer Validity
Set the start and end dates for your offer. The offer will be active and visible to the consumers on the mobile app on the set start date and will no longer be available to them on the end date. The offer will only be valid during the set period and does not have a separate timeframe for eligibility and reward. (e.g. excluded case: consumers buys product A from 01/01/2024 to 03/312024 but get the reward between 04/01/2024 to 05/01/2024). The validity of the offer assumes both the eligibility time and the reward time together. (e.g. if consumer buys product A from 01/01/2024 to 03/312024 they can get the reward also only during the offer validity dates)
Where
Stores
Select the stores where the consumers would need to buy the specified product from. This field is optional. If left unselected, the offer will be valid at all the stores you currently have enabled (active) in your Brand profile.
Reward
Enter chip amount
Enter the amount of chips the consumer will be rewarded with. When e.g. they buy the product and scan the product QR code, they will get the amount of chips you set here.
Note: By default, our chips equivalence to $ dollar is: 1 chip = 10 cents.
When you set a product for which consumers would get chips, the chips amount will be auto calculated, based on the retail price entered in the product details. In this scenario, you cannot adjust the chips amount.
However for all the other cases, you can manually enter the chip amount for the condition you have selected.
How will he reward be redeemed
Choose between Seller Sends @ Checkout and User Scans @ Terminal.
You can only choose one of the options at this time and cannot do both.
User Scans Product QR - use this redemption method if you wish the consumers to scan the QR code from the product. If you choose this method, you will need to specify the amount of printable QR codes to be generated, that you can print and stick on the product or package to make the QR code available to consumers. This method will work if:
you specify the amount of QR codes for this offer
you print the generated QR codes for this offer
You stick the QR code on the product or package
you ship the products to stores where consumers can buy the product with the QR codes
If you have chosen multiple eligible products in the condition section, you have the option to print 1 generic QR code for all products, or individual for each.
Using the QR code for scanning the products is an easy way for consumers to earn chips by interacting with your Brand.
Seller Sends @ Checkout - use this redemption method if you wish the sales people to send chips to consumers from the Chips app at the stores. This method will work if:
Sellers from the stores can only send the chips to consumers if they have the Chips app access
If the store has accepted your Brand’s invite
If the offer you are creating includes the store where you wish the consumers to redeem
For sellers to be able to send chips to the consumers through the Chips app, they will need to ask the consumers one of the consumer identifiers:
phone number
wallet QR code
Offer QR
How many printable codes
Enter the amount of unique QR codes that you would like to generate. The generated QR codes can then be exported as CSV, images or html link to be used for your printing software to print them. The printed QR codes will need to be sticked on the products from the offer you’re creating.
This field will only be available in the offers where you have chosen the redemption method User Scans Product QR.

Title your reward
The title of your reward will be autogenerated, based on the condition and offer details you have entered for the offer your are creating. If you wish to change the title text, you can go ahead and delete it and input your text. If for some reason, you decided to go back to the auto-generated text, click on the Reset icon to get it back.
