How the App Works
The Chips app is your hub for earning and redeeming rewards from your favorite brands — both online and in person. Here’s a quick guide to the core features and how everything works:
Navigation Overview
The Chips app is organized into several key modules, accessible from the navigation bar:
Home
The Home page highlights new brands and featured rewards on the platform.
Tapping a brand takes you to that brand’s homepage, where you can browse available rewards — including Chips, products, memberships, or other perks.
Clicking on a specific reward opens the reward details, showing how and where to redeem it.
Chip Stack (Dropdown Under Your Name)
Click the dropdown next to your name to view your Chip Stacks, which show how many Chips you’ve earned from each brand.
Chips are the app’s currency, used to redeem rewards throughout the platform.
Wallet
The Wallet page gives you quick access to:
Your Wallet QR, which can be scanned at checkout at participating brick-and-mortar stores to earn Chips.
You can also access the Wallet QR via the ID icon next to your name on the Home page.
Your brand memberships, favorite brands and rewards, and a summary of your Chip Stacks.
Links for account settings and account deletion requests.
Rewards & Brands
These modules let you explore all available content:
Use category filters to narrow down types of rewards.
Tap “View All” for expanded browsing options.
Use the “Nearby” filter to find participating stores within 15 miles.
Use the “Eligible” filter to show only the rewards you currently qualify for.
Ways to Earn Chips
You can earn Chips in several ways, including:
Scanning your Wallet QR at checkout in participating retail stores
Claiming Freebie rewards that don’t require a purchase
Giving your phone number at checkout (if linked to your account)
Scanning printed QR codes distributed by brands
Referring friends to the app
Signing up through special QR or referral codes shared by select brands
Once you’ve earned Chips, they’ll appear in your Chip Stacks and can be used to redeem rewards from any brand you’ve interacted with.
