# Get Started

**1. Download the App**

First, download the **Chips** app from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/iwantchips/id6745032220) or [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ioucorp.chips).\
Once installed, open the app and follow the prompts to create an account.

#### **2. Create Your Account**

Sign up using your:

* **Phone number**, **email**, or a **referral code** (if you have one)
* Optional: **Scan a signup QR code** from a participating brand for bonus Chips

Once you’re signed in, you’ll be able to start browsing brands and rewards right away.

#### **3. Explore Brands & Rewards**

* Head to the **Home** tab to view featured brands and rewards
* Tap any **brand** to see all the rewards they offer
* Click on a **reward** to view redemption instructions and eligibility

#### **4. Earn Chips**

There are several ways to earn Chips in the app:

* **Scan your Wallet QR** at checkout in participating stores
* **Claim Freebies** directly in the app
* **Provide your phone number** at checkout (if linked to your account)
* **Scan brand QR codes** on packaging or signage
* **Refer friends** or **sign up through referral codes** to earn bonus Chips

Chips earned from each brand are stored in your **Chip Stack**.

#### **5. Redeem Rewards**

* Browse rewards under any brand page or the global **Rewards** tab
* Use filters like **"Nearby"** or **"Eligible"** to find what’s available to you
* When ready, select a reward and follow the steps to redeem

#### **6. Manage Your Account**

Use the **Wallet** tab or the dropdown under your name to:

* View your **Chip Stack**
* Access your **Wallet QR**
* Manage **brand memberships**
* View **favorites**
* Make **account changes or deletion requests**

Once you're set up, everything you need to earn and redeem is just a tap away.
